MIS Faculty Participate in Customs and Border Protection VIP Border Tour

Members of the MIS Faculty participated in a VIP tour of the Tucson Sector of the Arizona / Mexico Border. The tour, sponsored by Customs and Border Protection (http://www.cbp.gov/), provided educators and researchers with insight to issues facing border security and national security. The Department of Management Information Systems in the Eller College of Management will apply for the NSA/DHS designation of Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance (CAE-IA) in January 2009. A letter of intent to apply has been submitted.
